In anticipation of winter weather conditions impacting our area and to ensure the safety of our patients and team members, SMH | Ochsner  has updates to locations and hours.

All clinics and outpatient facilities will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 21 and all appointments and elective procedures will be rescheduled.

Ochsner Pharmacy & Wellness – Slidell Memorial Hospital: Open Monday, Jan. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Urgent care locations will close at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20 and remain closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Clinic Appointments

Patients with clinic appointments will be contacted and rescheduled or offered a virtual visit, when available.

Emergency Rooms

The SMH Main and East emergency departments remain open.  If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911. 

Virtual Urgent Care

Ochsner Connected Anywhere connects patients to Ochsner physicians for urgent care virtual visits. Patients who live in Louisiana can download the MyOchsner mobile app on iOS or Android to receive care and those who live outside of Louisiana can visit ochsner.org/connectedanywhere to receive care.
