Look Good...Feel Better
Mondays, Nov 6 / Dec 4For female cancer patients undergoing treatment, the Look Good...Feel Better program teaches beauty tips so that they may feel good about their appearance during and after chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Volunteer beauty professionals lead small groups through practical hands-on experience. Each participant receives a free makeup kit to use during and after the workshop. This class will teach cooking skills needed to prepare easy recipes that not only taste good, but will also help develop healthy eating habits. Staying active during cancer treatment can substantially improve a patient's sense of physical well being. This class is specifically for cancer patients and their caregivers.
